Amy Hammer joins Natasha on this
episode of Mormon Sex Info as they discuss instances when young
children and pre-adolescents are involved in sexual
play/exploration with one another.
Amy is a CST and Licensed Clinical Social Worker and
Psychotherapist specializing in
adolescents, adults, couples/marital, family and severe mental
illness. Amy works at a Mental Health center in
Kansas.
Amy and Natasha discuss how to help children become healthy sexual
beings especially in environments where there might be assault or
abuse whether by other siblings or others in the home. Topics
include why they don’t like the term predators for a younger
population, what can be done to help them when they are adults to
be healthy sexual beings, when to get help, how to get help, and
various resources to help.
